To be as fair as I can stand to be to Ted, it was not a direct threat.

But, it was close. Not hard to see the implication. He said "....I will be dead or in jail....".

What strikes me is the fact that this is just the kind of asshat who goes around whining like he's living under a repressive totalitarian regime. Yet he can talk like this, hop into his jet and go home to his bunker full of guns-n-ammo after the Secret Service interviews him..............

Does shithead know that if it was half as bad as he thinks it is.........

Even when he was "good," he sucked. Nugent was the only concert I ever walked out on. A buddy and I had free tickets (including a bus ride to the show) to Nugent in Rüsselsheim, Germany. We watched one or two songs and bailed to the parking lot until the end of the show waiting for a bunch of drug-crazed GI's to come back to the bus at the end. Truly awful.

My best friends older brother Paul was the drummer for Teds warmup band when he played in Cleveland one time....I believe it was sometime around '77 or '78.

I remember asking him, "Man, you got to meet Nugent? That is so cool!"

He shot me a sideways look of disgust, "No it wasn't. Nugents a fu**in' dick.".

Sounds like MWR (Morale, Welfare and Recreation) Hell...one of those situations wherein you are trapped lol and cant escape....afflicts poor, young, isolated single military men and women usually stationed overseas...
