This is 2017. There really isn't anyone with any intelligence who doubts the absolute need to support science in governmental agencies. Yet here we are, with a completely incompetent goober being proposed by Trump for the chief scientist slot at USDA. Industry lackeys heading EPA and DOE. Science deniers allowing industry representatives to write policy. Underfunding science that goes against preconceived bias.

How can any thinking person still defend this administration on anything it does?
