Little Steven's Garage off the radio.
But picked up a new to me TT I'm dying to try out. A Goldring Lenco L-833DD in fantastic shape. Maybe tonight the magic will happen.

Got it all hooked up just to find out the Grado Silver cart was DOA! Both channels open WTF. So after troubleshooting with adult beverages listening to some blues. I finally mounted a AT DR-100 and spun Ian Hunters self titled LP. Sweet sounding table and very heavy stable body. Speed stays dead on I just can't figure way both channels would be open on the Grado. It looks like the stylus is brand new.

Cool table! To my eye, it has a sort of Philips look to it, definitely a "continental" look. Do you suppose Lenco outsourced their non-rim drives?

From what I have found out so far is Goldring bought the name produced it in Switzerland. Yes ti does have the Philips feel to it.

Aha! That makes sense! I never realized Goldring got ahold of the Lenco brand. If it turns out to be Philips-made, that's definitely not a bad thing.
