I shared these with the elderly gent I regularly visit in Atlanta who restored the Atlanta Fox Moller organ (Mighty Mo'), he toured the Boardwalk Midmer Losh opus 5550 ca 21 years ago and we thoroughly enjoyed his vicarious revisit and the restoration update.

Josef Bucher plays organ music of the sons of J.S Bach

Polski Nagrina Recordings, 1972. Made in Poland.

Price: 65 Zloty

The cover is ugley, but the music by Carl Philip Emanuel and Wilhelm Friedemann is outstanding beautiful!!!

It's good but I prefer Ann Peebles' original, mostly because of the Memphis Horns type arrangement as opposed to the standard Seasaint Studios groove.

Tina Turner did a great cover of it on her album Private Dancer. I saw her in Munich on her tour supporting that album in ~1985. She was really popular in Germany at the time and it was a rockin' show.

Saw Tina several years ago in Atlanta, she really delivers! Unforunately missed Chris Isaak opening for her.
