Well, seeing as how they are coming and killing your people and knocking down your buildings and bankrupting you in foreign wars, it's probably about time you started caring. Especially since you guys are so deep in hock that the rest of the world basically owns you anyhow.
That was the mentality that screwed you guys up in the first place. And that will be the mentality that will bring total ruin to America.

It started with Reagan (unless you go back to TR).
Folks don't care for global Manifest Destiny.

Obama is spineless. Those bloody a-holes across the aisle use him like a $5 whore.
All of these dumba**es in this country pointing at him and screaming "totalitarian socialist", just drive me nuts. If that was what really was most of those teabagging idiots would be DEAD. Hannity, Beck and all the rest of those tongue wagging jackasses would be in a Gulag on the frozen tundra of northern Alaska somewhere, being traded for cigarettes. That's real tyranny. Americans are so fat, ignorant and pampered we haven't the slightest notion what real tyranny is. They think if you put less cholesterol in their fu**ing "freedom" fries that you're oppressing them. Give me a break, what an absolute joke.
We need to change the name of this place........How about "Whinemerica", or "Fearmerica"?
Dave

Given that all energy production here is in private hands, what in hell can he do about energy costs? I think you are looking at the wrong bunch Chas.

My view is he was trying to work across to the center and right, if not there might have been even more gridlock going on. The party not in the White House is doing a pretty good job of controlling the direction Right now.

It's funny how the Euro's don't give a damn how other Euro's view them.
I'm with you...screw the rest of the planet.

You might want to watch other channels then Fox and listen to other radio stations and get more views. You would be surprise at the world out there. I'm guessing now but your local paper might be lacking in depth coverage.

Never listen to the BBC world or read Reuters?
Also what happens across or borders will effect us in the U.S.A. greatly. For one what is happening now in Mexico and the effects to our border.
We can not be isolationists by burying our heads in the sand. Ignoring problems will not make then go away. Just worse when they can not be over looked anymore.

That's one way to look at it, I suppose.
The other is we should have just stayed home, feathered our own nest, and done as we saw fit while allowing the rest of the world to do as they see fit.
It's the globalists who are destroying America, not the mind your own business types such as myself.
Ain't my job to tell you how to live, and that goes both ways.

Well, you can only ignore the asshole across the street for so long, and THEN you do something.
But that doesn't mean you need to go looking for trouble, and it sure as hell doesn't mean you have to be the lender of last resort for the internationalists.
Unfortunately, we've allowed those with a global vision to put us in that very predicament and to grow wealthy while doing it.

America is greedy.
We have plenty of our own problems, but we insist on having the rest of the world's problems as well.
I say it's high time we just stayed home and be satisfied with what we've got.
