In my long ago, M was millions, and thousands were just false precision after the decimal point, as in $29.208M.

^^I looked this up. "M" is a million and so is "MM", supposedly representing thousand thousand, but the logic defies me.

LOL.
We probably have nano accounting these days, to go along with our fiat currencies. Decimal places too small to be seen with the naked eye. As much as I like physical currencies, I think we should round everything off to the nearest dollar, do away with coins. Last edited by BigElCat; 04-28-2024 at 11:41 AM.
