I think there is just an ebb and flow to all things in life including PoliticalChat.

Personally, I’ve just been tired of hearing about Trump. I’m burned out on daily scandals.
And, I’ve just been busy lately as I’ve recovered from surgery and enjoying retirement.

Truely, it is exhausting and exasperating.
A good part of the point of the daily Trumpian circus is to wear down and exasperate opposition. Venting here out of exasperation is somewhat cathartic and to be expected, tho' debate on some productive level should be possible.

"Should be expected and demanded of the members" That is what I would think should be a fundamental guiding principle here. Say something productive or nothing, simple as that.
