Nah, The Media Isn't In the Tank...

...for any particular party or candidate.

http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/...e-iowa-sanders

Surely CNN - or any other network - would kick their prime time programming to the curb if any other candidate for any other party were to come calling....

The media is "in the tank" for ratings. They don't really want Hillary. They just want to turn the campaign into reality TV.

One thing though: they REALLY don't want Sanders or any other populist candidate that talks about breaking up big banks and big media, "wealth redistribution" via the tax code or any other issue that the people favor.

Interesting that all of a sudden, now that Hillary is in trouble, it's OK to have another debate.

It doesn't matter to me. No sane person would watch that drivel anyway.

The Repubs many debates, which drew a large diverse audience, have really f#*ked up the Clintons.

Okay, I finally read the Vanity Fair article. It's a blatant hit piece, trying to hang an exaggerated version of Bill Clinton's sexual indiscretions around Hillary's neck.

Okay, now the Town Hall: if CNN were going to conduct a Town Hall Meeting with no candidate other than Clinton in attendance, the writer of the VF piece might have a point. As it is, however, with all three candidates in attendance, it's just as valid/invalid to assert that it gives Sanders and O'Malley another shot at Hillary.

I didn't read the article.

I am just amused that Wasserman Schultz's efforts to protect Hillary have backfired.

It's only whell's and the writer's contention that the Town Hall was conceived as a way for Hillary to get "One More Shot to Take Down Sanders". It could just as easily turn out in the exact opposite way.
