Yeah, but she didn't want to take that risk before when she thought she had the nomination in the bag. This Town Hall would have never happened if she still had a big lead in the Iowa Polls.

If she thought she had the nomination sewn up, why would a little old Town Hall worry her?

It should also be pointed out that this isn't a debate. The candidates will not be able to directly challenge one another.

I'm asserting that the CNN Town Hall Meeting is as likely to hurt Hillary as help her. It's easy and equally legitimate to argue either position but the most legitimate position is that one result is essentially as likely as the other. I'm also asserting that the VF article is a blatant and utterly transparent hit piece.

For the record, I don't like Hillary very much. It's just that I like political smears masquerading as journalism a whole lot less.
