Wonder how much that is going to cost us? We're hiring mercenaries to protect our diplomats?

I'm glad we are finally doing this, but I think the pretenses they are pulling away are complete and utter bull shit. Maybe if we weren't there committing war crimes we wouldn't need to be worried about troops being prosecuted.

Good news for soldiers getting out. As has been pointed out it is bullshit, we ain't getting out. Someone needs to protect the divvied up oil fields.

Anyway, those troops are needed for our newest occupation in Africa.

I think it would make a great spot to set up some missile silos pointed at Iraq. I would also like to see the US government give them the bill, which could of course be paid in crude.

The whole war was going to be funded by crude...remember. I can't imagine what happened. Maybe shell, BP, ARAMCO, et al.... told Bush we could not have any of their crude.

Yup! Wasn't gonna cost a dime, would bring peace and democracy to the middle east, destroy Saddams WMD's and keep gas prices low. Looks like shrub and his friends are batting 1.000 on this one....
