The democrat was really DUMB and the REBUPS just greedy.

Mr. Smith wanted to be Mayor but the democratic side was crowded with candidates with better name recognition and finance than he has.

So Mr. Smith schemed to jump ship. However even if he had succeeded in getting into the race as a repub it is exceedingly doubtful whether he could push aside the repub hopefuls of which one is a billionaire.

For such a doubtful outcome this dummy open himself to an out of town "developer".
