You take a spoonfull and hold it at an angle to the light. You look for anything that looks or reflects a multi-color light. If you see that lose it because that is lousy moonshine.

not to hijack, but because the title said "scroe", I thought I would add a score or loss that I did many years ago. Back in the mid 80's I had a mid 70's AMC Gemlin X. The body was good but I blew up the motor. I put it up for sale with a sign in the window. For sale ot trade. It sat for several months. Finally, I had a guy offer me a case, 6 liters of Crown Royal for the car. I am not sure who got the better end of that deal. I kind of think I did.
Just a story to share..........

I have been mixing it with 50/50 with distilled water. If you mix it with orange soda or cranberry juice with ice you can't even taste it. Gives me less of a headache than vodka.
I still have 3 bottles left lol. This stuff lasts awhile.

We have been known to enjoy and I'm sure you know of Jungle Juice. A cooler filled with ice sliced fruit and tropical juices a bottle or two, three of Everclear.

I tasted variations of that in college. I think I am past the age limit on that sort of thing lol.
I did buy my first bottle of Tito's last night. That stuff is smooth goes down like water. No wonder it is expensive.

Been some years here too!
Clear alcohol if I drink it now is in OJ. Not very often it at all. The wife is the one who like Gin and Tequila. Have to keep buying blenders.....
I'm a brew or Bourbon guy now. Simple is the best for me.....
