Paul Manafort never believed the rules applied to him; I know — I worked with him for a decade
...making him a natural ally with the Trump crime syndicate.

8 experts on why the Paul Manafort jury doesn’t have a verdict yet — and what it might mean
Somewhat reassuring. Despite the preponderance of evidence, which should be an obvious slam dunk guilty verdict, there are 18 counts to go though, with the jury needing to match up counts to evidence, a time consuming process.

With eighteen counts against him, some of them are bound to be guilty.

Yes, but there should have been no doubt about guilt on all charges, given the overwhelming evidence. This judge planted the seed of doubt in the jurors’ minds. It takes just a single Trumpkin on the jury to run with it, and disrupt what should have been a simple unanimous conclusion.

^^ After reading the WaPo article, its just one count. We do not know for now how many counts the jury has taken up so far. Judge Ellis in his instructions today is still asking for a unanimous verdict. With 18 counts, i will take as many guilty verdicts that can be had for now since there is still another trial. Defense will have a much harder time since they have already played their hand. Rick gates may be complicit but this trial is about Manafort and what he did. Gates directly did not benefit from this tax evasion since it was Manafort's company.

Read somewhere today that one juror, in a black hoodie, has been sitting apart from the other jurors. Hopefully just one lone wolf Trumpkin, who can be persuaded by the overwhelming evidence.
Last jury I served on, despite lengthy undercover video surveillance evidence of a malingering CHP officer, two jurors at first weren’t convinced of the guy’s obvious guilt. Took only a couple of hours to change their minds and reach a unanimous guilty verdict.

Verdicts on this trial is now forthcoming I just heard.
It's now reported on Reuters wire feed.

After deliberating for four days, however, the jury of six men and six women told the judge it had failed to reach a decision on 10 of the 18 criminal counts Manafort faces in the first trial stemming from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of Russia’s role in the 2016 U.S. election.

Wonder what this means, time will tell I guess. So it was more than one count after all.
