The Russian government arranged a deal for Pregozhin to pull violent criminals out of Russian prisons as fodder for deadly confrontations with trained Ukraine troops. Of course the Russian government will use know far-right nazis groups. The Russian military has always been for shit when it comes to logistics. Their ability to keep their forces well armed, well fed, and well directed is completely missing. They couldn't manage a conflict with a bunch of under funded, under armed, Mujahideen guerilla tribal fighters in Afghanistan. How are they going to get anywhere against a trained, dedicated Ukrainian military with personnel who know they're fighting for their freedom and independence.

Earlier reports on the Wagner group indicated casualties as high as 80% in their contact with Ukrainian troops. It's almost as bad as the casualty rates suffered by Iran in their war with Iraq 1980-88. Estimates indicate that 260,000 Iranian fighters died in that war. With hundreds of thousands more wounded.

Nope. The primary reason is that Israel wants to maintain freedom of action in the air above Syria (where Russia also operates) against Iran-allied enemies there.

They say that all other considerations (including the Israeli population being ~15% Russian) are secondary. If Nazi sympathies were a real concern of theirs, Israel wouldn't be so closely aligned with the MAGA GOP here in the USA.
