Hell I will raise a glass to that bastard's death, I hope no fish die because of him being dumped in the ocean.

Obama has been Public Enemy No. 1 for quite some time.
For some reason Obama did not beat his chest and say "I am very proud of myself." He did give significant credit to the military and particularly to the anti-terrorist operatives. Interesting that he noted Leon Panetta's involvement. Think the rails are greased for his confirmation as Sec'y of Defense?
It was good to hear that President Bush issued a very statesman-like message of congratulations about the event.
How well is Trump's tough guy credibility gonna sell now. Will he somehow try to take credit. I think he has had about as tough a week as any political candidate. His birther issue is yanked out from under him; he gets publicly humiliated at the Correspondents Dinner, and now the target of Trump's ambition has just scored a major accomplishment.
It's hard to take a lot of pride in the death of any human, but I will have to go along with the widower of a 9/11 victim "A huge source of evil is no longer in this world." I suppose all of us can take some pride in that.Regards,

My feelings too. Sad that we had to kill another person, but I suppose there was no other way to deal with him. The world, for us, will be safer with him gone.
I guess the question now is what is next? Do we continue in afghanistan or IRaq? Do we come home?

From the news it seems that the President called both former Presidents Bush and Clinton to give them the news before going public. It was also gratifying to hear Fran (forget her last name) a former Bush appointee declare on the news that President Obama was very strong in taking the decision to send in the Seals and the CIA. As she acknowledged, the final decision had to be his.
Of course the conspiracy freaks are already at work and rumours galore are going the rounds.

Perhaps in answer to the dancing in the streets when the WTC fell.

And let's hope Al Jazeera covers it well.

Saw this posted on a Yahoo board:
"I was born in Iran and came to America about thirty years ago to get away from the mullahs and their religious government. I passed the test and became a proud American citizen a few years ago. 9/11 was the most tragic day of my life, as it was for any other descent person in the world, American or not. I cried along with my friends and relatives. This is a great day. God Bless America. It gave me everything and gave me a home. Osama Bin Laden came into our beautiful house and tried to turn it into an ugly cave like his. Well my friends. We won. Happy Day to all."
Amen.
