What sort of country do we live in...
Where a baker can refuse to deliver a wedding cake to a gay couple, but an American woman is forced to deliver her rapist's baby

More news on life in these United States...
Portage Park Man Charged With Murder Of 9-Year-Old Neighbor After Reportedly Saying She Was Too Loud
I lived in this neigjborhood until I was this little girl's age. Where any sick, homicidal motherfucker you see scaring little kids out playing in front of their home...is likely to have a gun.
More news coming up on life in the greatest country on earth.

In a country with armed MAGAts who want to take the law into their own hands or commit acts of domestic terrorism.
Quote:
Man killed in FBI raid after alleged threats against Biden, other officials
|
Interesting part of this story is that this man was being tracked by the FBI and was questioned previously for his threatening posts and told the FBI to come back with a warrant. They did and he got killed for inviting the FBI. (/s)
When the FBI did interview him, he was adorned in a Trump hat. Idiots every one of them, dying for a worthless scum.

If I wanted to waste my time I'd watch some Reich-wing media bitching & moaning about "Biden's weaponized FBI" using excessive force against some poor harmless old man who's only "crime" was supporting Donald Trump.

Here is a para from an opinion piece I linked in another thread, which adds to this cartoon.
Quote:
When he hasn’t been igniting straw men in the culture wars, DeSantis has sought to portray himself as “Trump without the baggage,” a MAGA crusader who knows how to manipulate bureaucracies and get things done. The problem is that Republican voters don’t seem to want “sane Trump” or “unindicted Trump” — not as long as original-recipe Trump is still on the menu.

Here is another interesting case that represents title of this thread.
A week after Bowers was sentenced to death for the synagogue massacre in Pittsburgh, this guy Lloyd was seeking vengeance.
Quote:
On social media, he pledged to track down the jurors at the trial, sought guidance on making ghost guns and pipe bombs, and urged anyone reading his website to follow the example of Robert Bowers, the man who carried out the synagogue massacre, the deadliest antisemitic attack in the country’s history.
|
What is even more troubling that this guy shot his girlfriend dead and was acquitted claiming self defense. A single shot to the head, body dumped elsewhere and yet he escapes punishment. he was just as much a White Nationalist then as he is now.
Quote:
In March 2004, Lloyd promoted the Order of National So************************m whose motto was “Wake up and Kill Someone.”

More on what sort of country we live in...
NBC.com headline this morning...
Quote:
GOP strategists warn Trump's post-indictment political resilience could falter after Georgia.
Trump needs Georgia to return to the White House, the strategists said, and nonstop indictment coverage could wear on voters who would otherwise be inclined to back him.
|
Indictments could cause Trump's political resilience to falter? Really? Could cause??? What the fuck has to happen...we have already identified that he could pull out a glock and shoot a black child in the head in Times Square and still be elected. But criminal indictments that could put him in prison for over 700 years "could cause political resilience to falter"???
Here's the article...
Trump's post-indictment political resilience could falter after Georgia
From the article...
Quote:
After having voted for Trump in 2016 and Joe Biden in 2020, Phyllis Weaver, 79, of Gwinnett County, said she is even more certain she won't support Trump next year.
Weaver said that she had tracked the case in neighboring Fulton County and that the charges were merited. “They’re founded,” she said Tuesday.
Still, she conceded some exhaustion with the pace of new charges, saying she turned over to watch "The Bachelorette" soon after news broke Monday that an indictment could soon be handed up in Georgia.
"He should be cut out from politics," Weaver said. “I don’t think he should be allowed to run for president."
|
OK...Phyllis...OK, he shouldn't be running for president, Phyllis.. But for Christ's sake Phyllis...y'know? How about "I don't think he should be walking the streets a free man." How's about that, eh Phyllis???
