I hope nothing was damaged.
They should add to warning label, 'Don't leave ladder in middle of freeway'

One time I was cruising down the freeway when I saw a complete two-car garage door flying like a Frisbee on the other side. It blew off the top of a dumpster hauler.

Indeed! I almost lost a 24 foot extension ladder on the 55 fwy once. Scared the crap out of me. Luckily traffic was light and I was able to move to the shoulder and re tether it down before I caused an accident. I'm surprised that the owner of that ladder kept on going, Barbara.

Today is NOT Friday. What are you people doing posting in the "It's Friday" thread on a non-Friday?

It's Friday somewhere.

We are stardust.
We are golden.
And we've got to get ourselves back to the garden.

When I was a kid in Missouri, this guy who owned an artesian catfish lake that you could pay to fish at, and a little tavern...

puts a john boat in the back of his pickup and gets on the highway. Boat flies out and in the windshield of the car behind him, killing a woman.
Nice guy, but went to prison for his stupidity.

Yep, I sure had a pucker moment when my ladder started sliding around on the rack. So much so that I welded up a locking bracket to keep that from re-occuring. Screw the cost of replacing the ladder, I have a much too active imagination of what could've happened to the people behind me if that heavy fiberglass ladder had fallen off.
