Thing is, when you get the "normal yearly flu shot" you are getting one that was developed with the current year's flu strain in mind. So you're getting a new one every year. My doctor friends tell me that if we don't get more H1N1 vaccinations out there it is going to be a very rough winter, with deaths in the low to middle hundreds of thousands a real possibility. Waiting could be fatal, particularly if the H1N1 mutates into a real killer, in which case we could be seeing death rates similar to those in the influenza epidemic at the end of the Great War.

I have a "wing-nut" co-worker who hypothecizes that the Democratic Party has deliberately released the "H1N1" or "Swine-Flu" virus to scare us into getting the innoculation which is, of course,---laced with mind control drugs.

My guess is that if all of the "wing nuts" buy into this horseshit, and H1N1 does mutate into a killer as gazelle1929 suggests, then we should have no problem getting healthcare passed next year?
