Just watched the new conference by one of the victims Father. Tough to see, kept thinking what they must be going through. Doubt I would of been as calm. FK THE NRA!

Just how many more times will this happen or just how bad will it need to be before something is done?

Sad to say but if our elected leaders couldn't summon the courage after 20 little kids were blown to pieces in Newtown, Conn. by another crazed gunman, I'm afraid nothing will be done. Nothing at all, Barney.

I'm afraid you are right. The insanity of it all. We were a more civil society once and should be better then this. But the elected officials are bought by the gun lobby, with funds supplied by increased gun sales. Fed by the violence and the false coloring of being a noble Wild Wild West independent hero. Instead of the scared little paranoid citizen with a hand full of courage in the pocket. Afraid of the perceived evil behind every corner. But the true evil gun get a pass because they want to keep their toys.

You have to pass a competency test be licensed and carry insurance in order to legally drive. What is there to stop a nut job from buying a gun? Not much it seems!

No sense trying to make you understand. I'm a holder of lifetime CCP and in the last ten years the amount of people who carry has skyrocketed. I will not even go to the range on weekends because of all the idiots who are there playing with toys. Have no idea on gun safety, there just to play around. Be a weekend Rambo in their camo.

I know in California you need to take a gun safety corse, a test, or a hunting license which you would have needed the prior test. And then a two week security check of you and anything you might have done. Then if everything checks out you can buy the gun.

A DL I can have in one day so thats a bit weak Barney.

I do know and see what your talking about new gun owners. But there not the ones committing these crimes. It's the young kids in 99% of the cases why. Because of parenting lol, because the way the where raised. physiatrics policies drudging kids when they where young for any reason. Never teaching them the word no, and that they deserve everything this world offers.

When they get out in the real world it's a culture shock. Poor baby life is not fair, the pussyfacation of the youth.

"Christopher Ross Martinez, a 20-year-old university student, died after being shot in the deli. His father, Richard Martinez, held a brief, emotional news conference late Saturday.
“Our family has a message for every parent out there: You don’t think it’ll happen to your child until it does,” the grieving father said. “His death has left our family lost and broken. Why did Chris die? Chris died because of craven, irresponsible politicians and NRA. They talk about gun rights. What about Chris’s right to live? When will this insanity stop?”"
