All of these are egg-laying and some of them date back long before the gallus gallus species appeared. The egg undeniably came first because the biological function that is the egg existed long before even birds (Aves) did.

A fertilized egg containing the DNA of a chicken will become a chicken but an egg by itself is a building block of the animal kingdom.
