Not against Hydro, but the rivers in Canada being used for Hydro are clean. Dam the Mississippi and it would be silted up in four years. Not only that the countryside around the Mississippi is flatter than piss on a plate, It would bury half of the midwest under water. The few rivers fit to dam have already been dammed.

Hell they dug a damn great tunnel through the mountain to dam the Colorado, saw that one from the train, quite a sight.

You forgot South Carolina. I think we'd solved the energy and know-nothing problem in one fell swoop.

I like steelhead and salmon fishin' Jack, I just don't think rednecks deserve endangered species protection, tho. Don't much care for the climate up in the Great White North or some of the over the top bagging on their bigger cousins down here. I do get a kick out of the fact that LA has the Stanley Cup (not that I give a crap for hockey one way or the other) Living in Canada would be way down the list, if I had to pick Australia would be much higher on the list.

I always got a huge kick out of the CFL Baltimore Stallions going to the Gray Cup in their first year of existence and winning it in their second. Pissed the Canadians off so royally that they moved the team to Montreal.

I dunno, I spent a lot of time traveling around Canada back in the '70s and I like it fine. As far as living there goes, it would probably have to be somewhere in the SW part of BC or even Vancouver Island. (Mmmmmmm! Nanaimo bars!)

If we legalize marijuana, most of us will no longer care.

I say give it back to Mexico along with bobbies home there also. Let them deal with, Texans, Arizonans and Southern Cali folk. They all go with the land

Man, southern B.C., Vancouver, and the islands are where it's at if I'm leaving the U.S.

They would no longer have an immigration problem to whine about either. And what a relief THAT would be for the rest of us.......

The price of broccoli is going up the other veggies too. Avocados $5-$7 a piece.
