Air fare to London is actually cheaper, in non adjusted dollars!, than it was in the 70s.

The United Mine Workers of America is NOT endorsing Obama now:

As long as it is only West Virginia's water supply they are polluting I really don't give a s**t about their vote.

Yeah well we reduced air pollution 80% here last year, and that is even with all the crap Ohio's coal burning powerplants blow in across the border. If they would spend more money on ways to clean it up but they would rather keep on doing it the old way.

It remains to be seen. They think Obama is anti-coal. I can't imagine many would vote for Mittie but they probably will just stay home.

So it's up to the rust belt in Ohio. It's close here, you can feel it in the air

How does Maryland generate electricity Rob?

I think the President is not so much against coal. But realizes the country or countries that get off the fossil fuel merry go round and onto a renewable source will be the winners. You don't want to be the last on the bus but the driver!

If Romney's the nominee they might just be scared enough to come out for Obama en masse.

Nuke and some coal, the thing is the state got the companies to clean up their plants. We went from 6th (I trhink) to 19th place in the bad air quality indices. Next year we will be out of the top 20.
