If it busts loose, it would prolly be before the election. Obama showing his balls and all that. Election cycle politics, dontchyaknow. As I see it something is brewing and it's inevitable regardless of who you vote for. I've read Netanyahus book (Fighting Terrorism) and I'm pretty sure Israel isn't going to just sit on it's hands. When push comes to shove, either we deal with Iran or they will. Personally, I'd rather they do it. But, realistically, even if Israel strikes Iran first, we will end up having to back them up anyways.
I think this is what's behind Hillarys recent comments to Netanyahu.

I getcha'alls, but we really, really don't want Israel to be bombing any arab countries if 'we' can do it. Don't want to stir up all those jewhaters particularly in light of the age of new arab enlightenment.
