What you'all need to think about is this.

What if?

What if their was an attack and it was found there could of been prior knowledge if the intel had been mined? The US is playing this game with one hand tied behind it's back. Trying to play fair with an evil foe who refuses to play by any rules.

Now that all said we in the US need to balance the need for safety and security against the personal freedoms loss. This would not be a problem if the elected officials would decide to put away party needs and wants to go back to what this nation best interests are!

Ever notice how the GOPers often give their pet legislation patriotic/heroic sounding names? There's a reason for that.

I saw a good article on "Repeal and Replace" last night, but I had a belly full of Angry Orchard and can't seem to find it now. Moving on; It seems they love to advance the mantra, but at present there seems to be little effort on the "replace" part of it. The author seemed to believe it would boil down to little more than "Repeal and Rename". I think he might be onto something. Seeing as how it's full of their ideas anyways.

It'll probably become "The Great American Patriot Healthcare Act", or some such sappy nonsense.

So, slow witted Americans will buy the notion that it was created out of love for America. Same reason they're always bellowing psuedo-religious and he-man patriotic crap. It's marketing a brand. It's what you do when you want people to buy off on something without snooping around under the hood.

The Dems do it too, but the GOP is far better at it.
