What's democratic about a LA resident's vote counting for less than a Bangor resident's vote in our federal elections?

Vestige of having to please slave states is why the electroal college was conceived. Time has long pasted on eliminating it for sure.

If the republicans deep down truly believed in their numbers. There would be no need to pass the voter disenfranchising, intimation laws. Running "big lie" candidates for attorney general in key battleground states. Gerrymandering on steroids.

Besides the electoral college, what makes the American system of democracy undemocratic is two Senators per state. In the current political climate, the Senate can easily stay in Republican hands indefinitely and the McConnell effect will continue, fight every legislation except tax cuts.

Second problem is the Supreme Court justices appointed for life. Most of thee people decide based on ideology, not the constitution.

Third problem is not having term limits. Feinstein and Grassley are decades past their prime.
