On March 23rd of this year, Epps through his attorney demanded from Fox a retraction and an apology.
Quote:
In a letter to Carlson and Fox News general counsel Bernard Gugar, Michael Teter, a lawyer for Epps, said the Fox News host “persists with his assault on the truth” by pushing “fanciful notions” regarding Epps’ involvement in the Capitol attack that have “demonstrably (and already proven to be) false.”

“We expect that you will give the same airtime in retracting these falsehoods as you spent amplifying them,” Teter wrote. “Further, Mr. Carlson and Fox News must issue a formal on-air apology for the lies you have spread about Mr. Epps.”
With TC the Jerk out of the picture, will there a statement of retraction by Fox? Doubt it.
A bigger question, is Epps still a Trumper? Very much so is my guess.

Wingnut conspiracy theorists must be dumb as a door knob. Lets say that Epps is indeed a Federal agent of sorts, would he go public like this? that will bring even more scrutiny and attraction.

I think Epps is CIA. Heck yes he'd go public like this. TC does it every day, and even though he swears he didn't take a job with the CIA, I think he's lying about this. And he's not out of the picture yet.

They don't care who sues who. They like court room drama, publicity. How else are they going to sway public opinion ?

Bah. I know, I know, quoting myself is uncouth, but here's further reinforcement.

Why would Tucker be fired from 3 major networks (and not care) ? He don't care, he still has his primary mission (destablize society).

Don't care who sues who, as long as they're in our collective conscious (consciousness ?)

****

Look at this; Tucker and Lemon have the same lawyer, now, to sue their respective former employers.

Head Slap. Maybe the lawyer is a key player in world affairs. https://news.yahoo.com/don-lemon-tuc...072746878.html

Speculation is all at this point.

Not sure Fox will survive this. I just canceled my subscription to FOX Nation.

Under reason just one word. Tucker

Thinking here that Tucker wanted to be fired in order to put Fox News in his rear view mirror.

I agree with you. He had become a liability for Fox and vice versa, yet may have a very high market value in the rightwing media marketplace. None of us know what Fox's plans are, but they will have to try and curb the excesses of the opinion hosts to stem the tide of the lawsuits. Tucker probably saw the handwriting on the wall and did not want to be muzzled.

You think he has a better deal on offer from a competitor for his ratings?

Haven't a clue. Was just making an observation.

Then why would he intentionally want to disengage from the most successfully lucrative gig of his otherwise largely failure-featured talking head employment history elsewhere?

Tucker had a long run and knew he could be fired at anytime because of his daring take on several issues.

Some years ago I thought he would be fired for his assertive counter view on Assad of Syria.

The guy has been on the edge for a long time. I guess possibly because he is rich enough to deal with whatever.

I believe he was fired because he went hard against Big Pharma and at the same time impughing the integrity of his boss.
