See, Capitalists "Soak the Rich" too.............
I remember paying $10 for a hamburger in La Jolla in 1984. Excellent burger, but the price was stupid high.

It was less than the previous week, last week and even less this week. Poor Romney, one less thing to campaign on. Guess he'll have to go feed on a smaller neck.

Indeed.
Immigration is no longer the problem it once was.
Bin Laden is dead, Al Qaeda is on life support.
The auto bailouts worked.
The stock market is booming.
Women, Hispanics, gays and blacks dislike the GOP.
Dogs taste good with enough soy sauce.
What's a demagogue to do?

$3.60, we should be dancing in the streets? I wouldn't cheer Obama's reelection just yet

At $3.60 gas is still way underpriced compared to the rest of the world. Other than eliminating a false political issue, I'm not sure that the dropping gas prices are a good thing.

Compared to Europe? That's all taxes. High gas prices hurt the poor the worst, as a percentage of income. And it effects the price of everything.

That's a result of a long-term poor ordering of priorities. Not to be a broken record, but having an energy and infrastructure policy that encouraged suburban sprawl damaged mass transit. With functional mass transit, the poor would not bear such a load with rising fuel prices, and the greater use of mass transit would also lower fuel prices with decreased demand.

D-Ray

And algae, don't forget the algae. Once we all return to the beautiful cities, they can flood the suburbs with algae ponds, it'll be paradise.
