This is why I love the little montages Jon Stewart does that show Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck, Coulter, et. al. and the politicians all repeating exactly the same phrase, word for word. A brigade of Marines couldn't march lock-step with such breathtaking precision.

Jon Stewart had become one of the sharpest political commentators in the US. He and his writers do an amazing job at things like what you said. And they take otherwise muddy issues and make them laughably clear.

SO how about we create a political party. We'll call it hte peoples party or something similiar. Our platform is that we don't have a platform. We simply analyze a problem, work together to find the best most reasonable solution, and then majority vote rules. Oh, for our primaries, we don't care waht party you are registered with, as long as you are a registered voter you get to vote. Maybe we could get really daring and advocate for ethics with integrity being the center value.

Just some crazy ideas? But I'd bet it would get some real attention if anyone could come up with enough money to get a little media coverage.
