The single argument I have most often with other Natives?
"It wasn't Utopia before they got here, don't pretend it would be if they hadn't."
The only difference is that McDonald's would be "Big Chief's" and all cars would run on liquid maize: which would be $3.50 per gallon.

And the energy crisis wouldn't be nearly the crisis it is now, had it been addressed back in 1973.
Face it, the only direction you can coast is downhill. And it's a long way back up to the top of the mountain.
Perhaps it is time to elect some of those crazy and unelectable folks. How could they be any worse than the USDA select candidates both parties keep offering up?
Got some mighty rotten meat currently hanging in the locker.

I wasted my vote on old H. Ross.
When he said, "This guy, (Points thumb at Daddy Bush), wants you to trust billionaires and corporate executives. Believe me, those guys are my best friends, and there isn't a single one of 'em that gives a damn about any of you." I almost fell out laughing.
Too bad more people weren't listening.

Excellent synopsis.
It didn't take Japan very long to go to shit once they saw the advantages of having a Great White Fleet.

I got a kick out of him whenever he said he was going to buy this election for the American public because they couldn't afford to buy it themselves.
That was a fact back then, and even more so now.
