Trump’s Air Force One tweet was a brilliant move

I guess I'm going to have to google "Twitter" and find out what the fuck it is and what I need to do to set up an account and start tweeting.

Another day, another provocative tweet from President-elect Donald Trump. This time, he went after Boeing and the cost of the new Air Force One replacement program. But while the target was different, the goal of Trump's twitter use remains the same: It's his negotiating tool and, just as importantly, an instant link to public support that no president has ever been able to use before.

"Boeing is building a brand new 747 Air Force One for future presidents, but costs are out of control, more than $4 billion. Cancel order!"

And it looks like it may have already worked. About two hours after the tweet, Boeing delivered the following statement:

"We are currently under contract for $170 million to help determine the capabilities of these complex military aircraft that serves the unique requirements of the President of the United States. We look forward to working with the U.S. Air Force on subsequent phases of the program allowing us to deliver the best planes for the President at the best value for the American taxpayer."

The Boeing spin are the words of a weasel.

Have fun on Twitter.

Of course they are. But it proves they are sweating.

I'm going to resist it as long as possible.

It appears that I will have no problem finding out what Trump is tweeting without actually signing up.

No please sign up. The twitter universe needs your wisdom much more than we do.

Trump is going to win the Nobel Peace prize by showing how peace is achievable through fighting bloodless wars on Twitter and he will ride off into the sunset at the end of his third term with a greater legacy than Reagan.

Boeing's statement "We are currently under contract for $170 million to help determine the capabilities of these complex military aircraft that serves the unique requirements of the President of the United States. We look forward to working with the U.S. Air Force on subsequent phases of the program allowing us to deliver the best planes for the President at the best value for the American taxpayer" describes their position before and after Trump's Twitter tirade.

Trump apparently did this because a day earlier the Boeing CEO had spoken out against Trump's protectionism plans. This is just another example of Trump being a thin-skinned twit.

His tweets against private citizens is no laughing matter and should stop immediately. The delusional twits who hang on his every word have threatened bodily harm to several people that Trump has targeted. Melania should restrict access to her little boy's Twitter machine.

Sounds like a ruse by Trump to upgrade his plane at taxpayer expense and then use his plane and get paid for it's use especially by his support staff.
