A factoid......
Unemployment does not kick in right away. I was laid off on February 16, according to NY state, I will not receive benefits until March 10.

Soc Sec works the same way, like pay periods at work too. You get paid for a period at the end of the period.

We only have a two week waiting period in Missouri. Must be the fault of all of those damn Republican's we have around here.

I think it is pretty much the same the world over, kind of like the normal salary, you only get it after the fact.

I think they're all broke. And they're fixing to raise my unemployment rates since I'm still in business. That's gonna help jump start the economy.
