You righties make me think of a comment by H. L. Mencken as to why puritans were so miserable because they worried that someone somewhere just might be happy.

It does seem that if you're making a strong wage and have excellent benefits to enjoy that Republicans will be along shortly to remind your employer that labor is cheaper and much more docile in China, doesn't it?

With friends like that, who needs enemies?
