Whe I was about 14 or 15, my Uncle was working away from home but my Aunt was expecting their first child so Grandad spent the nights at the far in case she decided to have the baby. This left Grandma alone so I slept over at their house which was catty cornner to ours. They had twin beds so I slept in Grandad;s bed. Grandma and I would talk until about 2 AM each night. I truly got to know her that time, we remained close until she passed on.

Funny how stories bring back fond memories.
