It's not anti-Semitism you ass. It's history.

When discussing history in the big picture you have to mention religion. It's unavoidable.

Imagine discussing the hsitory of rap music without mentioning blacks. It's not racist. It's fact.

As I understand it, Southeast Michigan still has a LOT of wealthy people.

It's the worker bees that have been chased off, because the "job creaters" refuse to create any jobs.....well, in Michigan, anyhow. It's far more lucrative to exploit workers in places who are not empowered to protect their interests.............always has been and always will be. Unless, of course, those who were formerly empowered are driven into poverty too.

Think about that, Jack. See the game for what it is.

Any comment on this?

Good. Because take note that the last names of Goldman and Sachs might have different historical roots than say Smith and Barney and Rowe and Price.

Yes, they certainly do.

Any comment on my other post? Does it sound a little more accurate than the commonly accepted notion of what happened to Detroit? (Or, the Rust Belt in general?)

"You know who I blame? The Jews!" - Gilbert Godfry, heard on radio - very funny. Still cracks me up thinking about it.

One more comment - 'judeofascism' is NOT history.

Dave that lady also said something like 'why don't they get a job?' iirc. I think we need to be rich!

Detroit's demise has a lot of components. But one of them sure as hell is not that the autoworkers renegotiate their contract once every few years.

They had jobs. Her husband fired them all.

It sure sounded like a "Let them eat cake." moment to me.

Here is the original article from the Jewish writer. The URL has a less offensive name and the colors are prettier. Maybe you guys won't pee your pants with fear if you take the time to read it and learn.

Hmm I recall the 3 a-hole CEOs going to Washington by private jet or helicopter to plea with the government for a bailout. No your right Hachet it's the union assembly worker making an honest salary with a respectable pensions fault. It's not the Rick Wagoner and Bob Nardelli characters who made millions hand over fist as their companies produced junk.

Look at Toyota's business model and it is much more different. Their CEO makes a very good living but no where near the salaries of the US auto CEO's. That company did not need to be bailed out.
