Looks like the gold digger probably got what she wanted.
Or, maybe the old bigot had something even more embarrassing to hang over her head. I dunno.

But, one thing is for sure;

How anyone can listen to that recording and buy the notion that he's not a bigot.......

Mr. King said very well what I tried to say in the Sterling thread. What Sterling said is stupid and degrading, but what he does, and others do when they are in positions where they can exercise economic power over minorities, is far more hurtful but draws far less media attention and public reprobation.

The NBA reacted brilliantly from a public relations standpoint and protected its bottom line. But it was not an heroic blow against racism.

Regards,

D-Ray

Excellent post.

I even feel the hypocrisy in the NBA is hideous. The woman sold out here molal integrity for money even dealing with the guy in the first place. The whole situation is one big cesspool.

All For Money.

There is a big article in the LA Times about Sterling bragging about his charitable contributions. But anyone who reads the LA Times paper edition has known for years that the Sterling is a very regular advertiser for said newspaper.....the Times has been printing his self-serving ads and real estate promotions for years.
