We want our Moon back!!!!

A conversation arose in the shop a couple days ago about the ESA landing of the "Rosetta" probe on a comet and the recent failure of the Antares rocket.

Someone commented, "Man, the Europeans are passing us up, quick.".

The wingnut at the table immediately grew red-faced and shouted; "Well, now that Obama is out of the way and we got Ted Cruz at NASA, we're going to get our moon back! And that goes for the rest of our space as well! You watch!"

Our moon and our space? And Ted Cruz is the reason it's going to happen?

I can remember listening to some of them whining that the entire space program was a sham, just another way for the government to get it's hands on their money...........

Yeah, but they are willing to throw their core beliefs out the window in a heartbeat if doing so will provide them an opportunity to bash Obama.

For them, hating Obama isn't everything, hating Obama is the only thing.

I thought those kind of conspiracies were more leftie ish, like who killed the electric car etc. The right is more likely to see their towns occupied by UN troops etc.
