well sure we can

but it takes some understanding and desire

sometimes our frustrations even though well based can have the opposite effect on what we want to accomplish

I can lay claim to being guilty of this.

Plane crashes are all too common in Alaska. It's the only way to get around many parts of the state and the weather is quite unpredictable. Also, many mountain ranges and box canyons aren't fully charted. Rep. Hale Boggs of LA was also killed in a plane crash in AK years ago. He was succeeded by his wife Lindy Boggs. My mother was Hale Boggs' secretary at the time and became Lindy's thereafter. Nice folks.

As for Ted Stevens, he was quite a irascible old coot. That said, I hope he survived unscathed, and if not, I'm sorry for his family's loss.
