Need technical advice
Somehow I managed to put a picture to my name on these threads. But, can anyone tell me how to change that picture?
Thanks so much for your help.

Hi Barbara. The picture that appears next to our name is called an avatar. I'm going to assume that you have a copy of the picture in your file that you want to use as an avatar. At the top of this page, click on the words "User CP," which appear right under the title "Political Chat." That will take you to the user control panel. On the left of the screen, there is a menu of options. Under "settings and options" click on "change avatar." Choose the option of "custom avatar" At that point you can use a picture that you have found on the web by copying the url address, and pasting it in the box, or you can chose a file from your computer by clicking on "choose file" That will take to your computer's file menu and you find the file on your computer that you want to use and double click on it. Let us know if this works.
Regards,
D-Ray

Thanks D Ray. I'll try that when I get back to my computer.
Icenine, that is Ocean Beach in San Francisco. The view from outside the motel we stayed at when husband had his last brain surgery. At the time, we needed a peaceful and serene place to keep our emotions in check.

Thanks Bob.
The surgery was successful but some days I wonder if he still has a screw loose in the noggin.

All of us males have that defect, I guess. The lucky ones end up with a partner who coddle us and never, ever let us know we aren't in charge of our own destinies.
