Yet another reporter soon to be banned.
A Latina yet and what is she thinking?

Quote:
At Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk was a jerk with a grand vision. At Twitter, he's just a jerk.
A very apt description indeed from what we hear from local Tesla employees.

Quote:
Elon Musk has a pretty tried-and-true playbook for doing business — he's used it for years to build companies from Tesla to SpaceX. Unfortunately for him, it is not a model that can turn Twitter into a profitable company. It's one that will take the social-media company down in flames.

Here's the Musk playbook: Enter a field with very little competition. Claim that your new company will solve a massive, global problem or achieve a seemingly impossible goal. Raise money from a fervent group of true believers and keep them on the hook with flashy, half-baked product ideas. Suck up billions from the government. Underpay, undervalue, and overwork your employees. Repeat.

Twitter is the antithesis of an "Elon Musk company." It's an influential but small player in a field that is dominated by giant, well-funded competitors. The government is more likely to put the clamps on Twitter than give it some windfall contract. And Twitter's employees have options: They can leave and work for companies that treat them much better than Musk ever would.

From that Musk tweet above, we learn:

1. It is a crime for a journalist to "cross" him.
2. Rightfully, a capital crime, they are lucky to get off easier than that.
3. In addition to 'crossing him,' adverse action may be rightfully triggered if Musk doesn't like you.
4. Twitter is Musk's "own platform" so he feels entitled to do whatever he wants on or with it.

From a column on Musk and Twitter by WaPo humorist Alexandra Petri:

Quote:
I have complained about this before. But one of the minor, in the scheme of things, yet persistent frustrations of the Trump era was the sheer amount of brainpower that all kinds of people — good, busy, even witty — had to spend staring into the unfathomable abyss of his words and actions and trying to extract meaning from them. What was covfefe? People spent hours on that! The sheer volume of analysis and jokes and grunting, straining effort to make sense of what made Donald Trump tick — and what made his head open up and a screaming bird shoot out of it at regular intervals — was debilitating
A great way to define a Trump tweet imo.

And now within a few weeks of Musk ownership, Twitter has now become the most censored website in the Western World. His "doxxing" policy was stupid enough (prohibiting material already readily accessible in the public domain) and now this:

He's busy gathering "knowledge" to share with the rest of us. Hard to know what to pick from Reich-wing media these days.

Yes, there is great apology for sedition, and indeed advocacy of it, but such advocacy, at least, is not a bridge whell has yet been willing to cross.

Damn fool egomaniac is insulting his most enthusiastic Tesla customers. I hope they all stop buying his products.
