In yesterday's much-publicized DACA meeting, orchestrated to show Donald to be large and in-charge after Wolff's book, the Dotard agreed with Diane Feinstein that he would support a clean DACA bill (at which time Kevin McCarthy was forced to correct the Dotard about his own previous position on this issue). The White House deleted this exchange from the official transcript of the meeting.

The official White House transcript of President Trump's comments on immigration failed to include a line from the president regarding a clean bill to address recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

During the meeting on Tuesday, Trump was asked by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) if he would support "a clean DACA bill."

"Yeah, I would like to do it," Trump said during the meeting, according to The Washington Post.

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) then told the president he needed to be "clear."

“I think what Senator Feinstein is asking here — when we talk about just DACA, we don’t want to be back here two years later. You have to have security," McCarthy said during the meeting.

The White House's official transcript did not include the line from Trump saying, "Yeah, I would like to do it."

A White House official said anything left out of the transcript was not done on purpose,

I guess that in trying to prove Wolff wrong, they proved him right.

From what I know the meeting lasted the same 55(?) minutes with the press then again without leaving me to believe it all was staged, this seems to support the idea.

The Liar-in-Chief, he who told over 2,000 lies is the last year and has accused Obama of being a foreigner and Ted Cruz's dad of being the JFK assassin, just came out today talking about the need for stronger libel laws:

“We are going to take a strong look at our country’s libel laws so that when somebody says something that is false and defamatory about someone, that person will have meaningful recourse in our courts. And if somebody says something that’s totally false and knowingly false, that the person that has been abused, defamed, libeled, will have meaningful recourse.”

Jennifer Rubin: With Bannon gone, we can see Trumpism for what it really is

Gotta like Ms Rubin. A conservative who actually gets it, unlike the vast majority of them who have substituted thinking with Trumpism.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...-it-really-is/

In any event, now that Bannon is gone from the scene, we can dispense with the idea that Trump ever had or needed a philosophy. Trump has long been about Trump, a cult of personality with ample helpings of racism, xenophobia, protectionism and nativism. His only “genius” is in manipulating and conning those looking to justify grievances (usually based on race). His specialty is in stoking white males’ anger over loss of primacy in society. Trump — as we plainly saw in that jumbled immigration session — believes in nothing more than winning, and then garnering praise from the people he has fooled (e.g. the voters who thought he wasn’t going to cut taxes for the rich).

Because Trump is incapable and uninterested in matters of substance, the plutocratic class that backed him has had a field day. (He’ll sell the masses; we’ll get the big tax cuts!) They and the evangelical power-seekers have been able to call the tune on taxes, abortion, gay rights, court appointees, deregulation, etc. What we have is a caricature of the far-right agenda that originally drove the party into the ditch with working-class voters. (Mitt Romney is a raging economic populist compared with this crowd.)

President Trump’s companies sold more than $35 million in real estate in 2017, mostly to secretive shell companies that obscure buyers’ identities, continuing a dramatic shift in his customers' behavior that began during the election, a USA TODAY review found.

In Las Vegas alone, Trump sold 41 luxury condo units in 2017, a majority of which used limited liability companies – corporate entities that allow people to purchase property without revealing all of the owners’ names.

The trend toward Trump's real estate buyers obscuring their identities began around the time he won the Republican nomination, midway through 2016, according to USA TODAY's analysis of every domestic real estate sale by one of his companies.

In the two years before the nomination, 4% of Trump buyers utilized the tactic. In the year after, the rate skyrocketed to about 70%. Profits from sales of those properties flow through a trust run by Trump’s sons. The president is the sole beneficiary of the trust and he can withdraw cash at any time.

Trump champions economic results of poll that credits Obama for booming performance

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/poli...icle-1.3750924

President Trump touted the economic findings of a new poll that largely credited his predecessor for the success — and questioned his fitness to be in the Oval Office.

“In new Quinnipiac Poll, 66% of people feel the economy is 'Excellent or Good.' That is the highest number ever recorded by this poll.” Trump tweeted Thursday morning, after bashing the controversial dossier detailing possible conflicts of interest with Russia.

The percentage was indeed the highest since Quinnipiac first posed the economy question in 2001, the school said Wednesday when it released the poll.

But 49% of voters believe President Obama deserves the credit for the booming economy, compared with the 40% who think it’s because of Trump.

The best president money could buy, lol. What a moron.

Apparently he doesn’t read at all. He must have heard about it on Faux&Feinds.
