Probably, we like everything Giamatti around here, even 'Shoot 'em up'.
Quaffing some Trader Joe's Bordeaux at the moment. I need to go redeem my birthday gift at the local hi tone bottle shop. It's always a gas to hit their extremely well stocked wine cellar and ask the well heeled what the think of the Haut Medoc as opposed to the others in the Medoc, of course dressed in my dirty work clothes and muddy Redwings, unshaven.

It's mostly a wine-besotted road trip movie about a bachelor trip up to northern California from SoCal. Excellent.

It's from the same guy who did Nebraska. Even better, and certainly funnier.

Thanks for the recommendation. I just watched "The Closet." Lots of fun twists and turns.

I remember sideways, and it got lots of good reviews (and an Oscar in there somewhere?). But I suppose that I am an old stick-in-the mud, because it really didn't appeal to me. But then, I didn't appreciate the humor of Ted Night or Frank Burns, although they were classic comedy characters. One of the characters in Sideways was a total boor, and I don't find entertainment in such characters.

Sound of Noise, a Scandinavian movie. An absurd and silly comedy. Need a good sound system to really appreciate it.
