The movie I've seen the most is by far "Goodfellas". Saw it first when I rented it in '91. I would estimate I have seen it around 50 times, and youtubed certain scenes countless times.

Close second would be "Boogie Nights". You may have guessed that from my name and AV. Another favorite of mine that I can't watch over and over is "Magnolia" by the same director(P.T. Anderson, love his movies). Too heavy.

Have not come close to watching any movie 50 times. My two favorites are Lawrence of Arabia and Blade Runner, although not seen either in years.

The Big Lebowski. I've probably seen it over a dozen times. I've seen Being There, Raising Arizona, My Cousin Vinny, Blues Brothers, Pulp Fiction and Goodfellas at least 4-5 times each.

Generally, I find it more enjoyable watching comedies multiple times rather than dramas . Good comedy remains funny. For dramas, once you know the plot, the climax and the denouement, it's not all that interesting to see them again.

Cousin Vinny, Blues Brothers, and Pulp Fiction are on my high-multiples list.

Beyond that, I've scanned the media collection and over 30 made the first cut. I'll just pick a few that seem like they would have very high numbers: The Fifth Element, The Maltese Falcon, North by Northwest, Victor Victoria, Men in Black, To Kill a Mockingbird, Rocky Horror.

Many other have equal claim to be mentioned. All flicks that Mrs. Q and I liked to watch together.

To your point, Finn, only one straight drama on this list....

Wow, I thought I was the only person around that's familiar with the film, The Maltese Falcon!

I Just saw Green Book and it's easy to see why it won the Best Picture Oscar.

@finnbow Great list you have there. Haven't seen "Raising Arizona" in quite awhile. And I understand what you are saying about dramas, but Goodfellas seems immune to that for me. I think it has more to do with the feeling I get when I watch it. Another time in my life, younger, etc.

Been there and done that, twice. In 71, or thereabouts, and when the Spielberg restoration was released. Read The Seven Pillars of Wisdom after the 71 viewing.

Wish Blade Runner was on that list.

Actually I'm not. I'm 66 and most of the people I know don't care a whit about old movies.

I just watched Gaslight again the other night and couldn't help but be reminded of what Trump is trying to do to the country on a daily basis.
