yes, perish the notion that other nations would lower themselves to the point of indiscriminately disrespecting our borders, violating our airspace and committing acts of war on us to the same degree we do it to others. that would be downright uncivilized.

If they did that, it would make them terrorists. Different if we do it.

Someone already tried, or was going to try, but they got him first.

Actually, I do see the justification for the directed drone strikes on terrorists leaders. The methods of engaging in warfare have changed; the technology has changed; the subjects of aggression have changed. I believe that the leaders of organizations whose method of warfare is to kill anyone they can kill to make their point (whatever point that is) are engaged in war against us. So long as they are engaged in their operations, they are subject to becoming casualties of war.

D-Ray
Agreed. Still the whole drone thing is a cause of concern, gnat sized robets with poison tips, scary.

Unless you mean we should send say Gore over to Afghanny

There are smaller versions used in police surveillance, and they are part of border security. With drones, Facebook, GPS, etc, the concept of privacy, much less personal security, is shrinking more and more.

But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Big Brother.

So explain to me how we are better off now as opposed to the days of the James Boys and Wyatt Earp.
