Suspect taken into custody, taken alive. Why is it that mass shooters often survive the arrest but otherwise un-armed suspects are shot dead?

Because most mass shooters are white while most unarmed suspects who are shot dead are black. Next question, but this time make it a bit harder.

Because he was carrying concealed legally. The Mall not allowing weapons is not any kind of offense. All they can do is ask him to leave.

My concern here is encouraging hothead would-be vigilantes to CC, without proper vetting for stability and competence, into turning less volatile situations into public shooting galleries.

So you are saying walking into a building packing a concealed weapon when signs are posted not allowed? No laws were broken? Only legal recourse is to walk the guy out?

I have had CC permits in 4 states so I can only speak to those. No laws broken in those 4 states. My current has resoprity in 19 states and a quick look at a few of those shows no laws broken.

Many of us are responsible gun owners and make the effort to understand the responsibility and restrictions.

Guess since Indiana now is a Constitutional Carry, no longer the need for a permit to carry.

Will have many more packing, pushing the envelope in place posted no weapons allowed.

Something about a store owner, bar, restaurant asking a customer to leave seems trouble waiting to happen.
