I recently picked up a concert video from a free live concert put on by Rage Against the Machine. Here is the
first track. Terrific camera work in this one - it really captures the mood of the event. It's a gas to watch 80,000 bobbing in unison to "Testify." The entire DVD shows the energy that RATM brought to the stage.
There is an interesting back-story to this concert. Some Londoners got tired of the X-Factor dominating the pop music ratings and started a campaign to make RATM's "Killing in the Name" the number one song for Christmas 2009. RATM pledged the profits from the sales of the single to a local homeless shelter, and promised a free victory party if the song prevailed. The video shows the result of that promise.
