Although to suggest that federal employees were not hurt by the sequestration is just another right wing lie. Thousands of federal employees were laid off during the sequestration. Several of them are friends from the staff of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. As far as I know, that was income lost to them forever.

We have a home in NW Indiana, the town sits on the south shore of Lake Michigan and is surrounded on the other three sides by the National Park Service Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. All of the parks facilities were shut down during the intitial stages of the sequestration, including the Welcome Center over on IN-49. The rangers and adminitrative staff were all sent home to wait it out. Far as I know they nobody lost their jobs, but to suggest that no federal employees got hurt is just a baldfaced lie.
