I have been after my daughter to take some, if she ever accommodates I will post them.

On a positive note, I shoveled a little snow today and two days ago for the first time in years.

Had a tough night after the first day I shoveled but I was none the less real happy I was able to.

We got anywhere between 6"-14" of very dense, heavy snow around here. My house got ~12" and lost power from 11 pm - 5 am. It's possible that Rob may be out of power still (although he has a generator). I read that 440,000 households in the area were without power at the peak. Still over 100,000 at the moment.

I take it that the magic of a snowfall is no longer appreciated by several of you.

Actually, I like it a lot. That is until I have to start shovelling. Sure is pretty though.

As I posted elsewhere, here in Baghdad on the Little Patuxent we were out from 8:30 PM Wednesday until 3:00 PM Thursday. So much snow in the driveway we could not get the cars out and put the generator in place. So we spent the night in the Family Room feeding the fireplace. When the local power company sells emergency generators you know you are in trouble. In 13 years in Ottawa one power failure. A transformer as big as our guest bedroom blew out. It was replaced by one on on a flatbed trailer within 12 hours. I don't even recall a brief blackout when they switched over to the permanent replacement. Of course that was a government owned power company and everyone knows they can't do anything right.
