Evolution, Creationism, or Intelligent Design?

Having not been there to see for myself, I really don't know. Evolution makes some sense as to the developement of species, but doesn't really explain the genesis of life. Creationism, to my mind, is a bunch of Hokus Pokus and smacks of religious fairytales (IMO). Intelligent Design, as I understand, is somewhat a blending of the two? Is that correct? As in; "God did it, and all Darwin did was try to explain how it was done." , I guess.

So, what do y'all think?

Dave
