The mantra of the wealthy is that it's beneficial for the poor to raise themselves and their families from real or relative poverty, and that the government should not be helping them achieve that.

The rich however expect special treatment and lobby to influence the crafting of rules, regulations & legislation to ensure that they're given special treatment to accumulate even more wealth.

The plant I work in provides the key ingredient (emulsifier) for 40 % of the bread made in the CONUS. Or so they tell me, something along those lines. The powder won't flow through the bakery tubes without it.

The Red States are ruled by the Bush contrived DHS, and Trump. Last I knew, the director of the DHS was a man nick-named "Tex".

We have a stand-off between National Guard troops and Federal agents in Texas along the border. This isn't all paranoid ramblings.
