If you're talking about PPACA, you are correct...to a point.

It's still the same old private insurance industry, only they've now bought off the government to be their enforcer. Before, the government was only their enabler.

A friend of my told me years ago that the best way to handle health insurance was to get the government into it completely, or get them completely out.

What we have now, not to mention for a long period of time, is a combination of the two. I really don't know how you could set up a worse system.
